Our team of independent care providers works under clear professional standards to protect client privacy, promote safety, and uphold our values of integrity, respect, compassion, and accountability.
Privacy Policy
Nurtura Home Care Services Ltd. protects all personal information in accordance with Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and the Health Information Act (HIA). Information we collect may include contact details, care preferences, health-related information (when voluntarily provided through our intake forms). We use this information only for:Coordinating and delivering home care services Communicating with clients and families Managing service inquiries and feedback Meeting legal, regulatory, or insurance obligationsWe do not sell or rent client or visitor information. Access to personal data is limited to authorized personnel and contractors who have signed confidentiality agreements. Service Agreements
Before the start of care, each client or their legal representative will receive a written Service Agreement outlining the nature of services, rates, scheduling, and consent for care. The Service Agreement will define specific care tasks, time commitments, and any service limitations to ensure clarity and accountability.
Client Responsibilities
Clients and families are expected to:Provide accurate health and personal information necessary for safe care.Maintain a safe environment free from hazards, smoking, or harassment.Give timely notice of any schedule changes or cancellations.Communicate openly with the care coordinator about preferences, changes in condition, or concerns.
Refund
Prepaid services cancelled with proper notice will be fully refunded or credited to future visits. Clients must provide a 48 hour notice for refund. Refunds are processed within 7 to 10 business days using the original method of payment.No refunds are issued once services have been rendered.In rare cases of service dissatisfaction, Nurtura will review concerns on a case-by-case basis and offer corrective action, replacement visits, or credit as deemed appropriate.
Rescheduling
Clients who provide the required notice may reschedule a visit within 48 hours of scheduled visit without penalty, subject to care provider availability.

Nurtura Home Care Services Ltd. provides non-medical, client-centered home care designed to enhance comfort, dignity, and independence for individuals in their own homes.Our services include personal care, companionship, light household support, respite care for family caregivers, and specialized care for clients with dementia or chronic conditions.We operate within Alberta Health Services home care standards, ensuring all care is provided by registered Health Care Aides, and care is provided safely, respectfully, and in accordance with provincial regulations
